If you like to have a drink ever so often, leave your money at home if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Leave your handbag, your money belt, and leave all money, plastic credit and checkbooks out of the casino. Grab only the money you expect to spend on drinks, tipping and only the pocket change you intend to lose and leave the rest behind.
Cynical? Not by any means. Realistic more like. You could have a win after a boozy night out with your compatriots and be blessed sufficiently to catch a marathon toss at a hot craps table. Don’t forget that story because it is as short-lived as it gets if you continuously drink and wager. These activities just do not go well together.
Leaving your moola back at the hotel might be a little bit dramatic, but preventative measures for excessive behavior is a requirement. If you gamble to win, then do not drink and gamble. If you are able to afford to throw away your money nary a worry, then consume all the gratis alcohol you are able to handle, but don’t carry charge cards and cheques to toss into the mix of chasing losses after your drunken brain squanders all the cash!
Allow me to take this a single step further. do not drink alcohol and then head on the internet to play in your favorite internet casino either. I enjoy a beverage from the coziness of my condominium, however since I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and have charge cards in close proximity, I can’t drink alcohol and bet.
How come? Even though I do not consume alcohol a lot, once I drink alcohol, it’s certainly adequate to befuddle my common sense. I bet, so I do not drink alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, don’t wager when you do. Both make for a dangerous, and crazy, cocktail.
