If you like to have a drink ever so often, keep your cash at home if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your pocketbook, your money belt, and leave all cash, credit cards and checks at home. Grab only the cash you intend to use on alcohol, tips and few dollars you anticipate to burn and keep the rest behind.

Cynical? Not at all. Just realistic. You may well experience a profit after a drunken evening out with your acquaintances and be lucky enough to catch a 25 minute roll at a hot craps table.
