If you like to have a cocktail occasionally, leave your cash at home if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your evening bag, your wallet, and leave all money, plastic credit and checks back at the hotel. Only take only the cash you intend to spend on beverages, tipping and few dollars you intend to lose and leave the rest behind.
Cynical? Not really. Realistic more like. You can experience a success following a boozy evening out with your buddies and be lucky sufficiently to hit a long toss at a hot craps table. Hang on to that account because it is as brief as it gets if you continually drink alcohol and wager. These activities simply do not go well together.
Keeping your moolah out of the casino is a bit excessive, but preventative measures for drastic behavior is required. If you gamble to win, then do not consume alcohol and play. If you are able to afford to burn your assets nary a worry, then consume all the complimentary booze your stomach can handle, but do not carry credit cards and chequebooks to throw into the mix of chasing losses after your bombed self throws away all the cash!
Permit me to carry this one step more. Don’t drink alcohol and then jump on the web to bet in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the coziness of my domicile, however because I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards in close proximity, I can not drink and gamble.
How come? Although I do not drink a lot, when I drink alcohol, it’s certainly enough to befuddle my common sense. I bet, so I don’t drink alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, do not wager at the same time. The two mix up for a decimating, and costly, drink.
