If you enjoy having a a beverage from time to time, leave your money at home if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your purse, your billfold, and keep all cash, plastic credit and checks back at the hotel. Pack only the money you intend to spend on beverages, tipping and few dollars you expect to lose and leave the rest behind.
Cynical? Not by any means. Just realistic. You could experience a win following a boozy evening out with your acquaintances and be blessed enough to hook a marathon toss at a on fire craps game. Keep that adventure seeing that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you regularly consume alcohol and wager. The two just do not mix.
Keeping your moolah out of the casino might be a bit dramatic, but defensive actions for excessive actions is compulsory. If you wager to win, then don’t drink and bet. If you can afford to blow your assets nary a concern, then consume all the gratuitous booze your stomach can handle, but don’t carry credit cards and chequebooks to throw into the mix of chasing squanderings after your befuddled self throws away all the cash!
Permit me to take this 1 step further. do not drink alcohol and then go on the internet to play in your favorite internet casino either. I love to drink from the coziness of my house, but since I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit at my fingertips, I can not drink alcohol and gamble.
Why? Although I do not consume alcohol to excess, once I drink alcohol, it is clearly enough to blur my common sense. I gamble, so I don’t drink alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, don’t bet at the same time. Both make for an awful, and expensive, drink.
